Hydrocystoma
Clinical Features
- Symptoms: asymptomatic
- Signs:
- Usually presents as a solitary and translucent cyctic nodule containing serous or milky secretions
- Cystic lesion of the either apocrine or eccrine sweat glands
- Apocrine hidrocystoma originate from the blocked excresion of the glands of moll, may occasionally encountered as multiple lesions and usually found on the lid margin.
- Eccrine hidrocystoma are regarded as less common ductal retension cysts that are not confined to the lid margin.
