- Among the causes of subacute or chronic angle-closure glaucoma.
Clinical Features
- Symptoms: acute, intermittent attack or chronic angle closure glaucoma.
- Signs:
- Plateau configuration of the iris with deeper central anterior chamber but shallow in periphery
- Relative pupillary block
- Angle crowding by peripheral iris tissue.
Management
- Laser iridotomy
- Long-term miotic therapy
- Peripheral iridoplasty
