Clinical Features
- Symptoms:
- Mild to severe decrease of vision
- Ocular pain caused by acute or subacute angle closure glaucoma attack
- Anterior bowing of iris stroma either due to inflammation-associated pupilllary margin adhesions to the lens or pupillary block by vitreous body prolapse or posterior chamber silicone oil from retinopexy procedures.
Treatment
- Topical or systemic glaucoma medications.
- Cycloplegic / mydriatic agents or miotic agents (dependent on etiology).
- Aggressive intraocular inflammation treatment.
- Surgical treatment includes YAG or Argon laser iridotomy to create communication between anterior and posterior chamber.
