Eccentric Graft
- Can be seen:
- After rotating autokeratoplasty, which was performed when a small corneal scar impinges on the center of cornea but the rest of the cornea is normal.
- Eccentric trephine cut may be done when significant corneal scar or opacity extends towards one side of the corneal periphery to avoid an excessively large graft.
- Disadvantages: quality of optical result usually less than normal centered graft.
