Corey Landis, BS, MS
- Clinical Research Coordinator
Corey is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. His primary responsibility is as a coordinator and exercise interventionist for the Columbia site of the SPARX3 Study in Parkinson Disease of Exercise. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Mercy University after receiving a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Neuro-engineering from Drexel University. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing and live music.
Mia Parker, BA
- Clinical Research Coordinator
Mia Parker is a research assistant in the Rao lab, and the site coordinator for the ChANGE-HD study. Mia obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The New School- Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts along with a minor in sociology. She is currently pursuing her MA degree in Psychology in Education at Columbia University’s Teacher’s College, with a concentration in neuropsychology. When not reading research articles or administering testing, you can find Mia behind a fictional novel, or running in Prospect Park.
Genevieve Smith, PT, DPT
- Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Genevieve’s clinical background is in outpatient orthopedics. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Her clinical interests include vestibular dysfunction, concussion, running injuries, and athletic injury prevention and management. Her research interest is in examining the impact of age-related mild cognitive impairment on impairments in gait and postural control.
Jonathan Jezequel, PT, DPT
- Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics and Sports
Jonathan is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics and Sports. He has spent his career in private outpatient practices. Jonathan is committed to patient education and empowerment and a focus of quality over quantity. His research interests are in understanding postural control impairments in lower limb tendinopathies.
Jennifer Jezequel, PT, DPT
- Pediatric Clinical Specialist
Jennifer is a Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with shared clinical roles in the gait analysis laboratory and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation in a specialized hospital setting. Her clinical focus is in the care of individuals with cerebral palsy. Her current research interests are related to the assessment of selective voluntary motor control in ambulatory children with cerebral palsy.
Kyle Wikfors, PT, DPT
- Neurologic Clinical Specialist
Kyle is board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist with over 10 years clinical experience at the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Kyle’s research examines early markers of functional recovery in people with cerebellar ataxia.
