Office of Faculty Advancement and Community Engagement

We are committed to the well-being and success of all community members. Columbia complies with all applicable civil rights laws and does not engage in illegal preferences or discrimination.

As a national leader in patient care, health sciences training, and biomedical research, Columbia's Department of Medicine is building a supportive and culturally rich environment that nurtures the success and well-being of our student body, trainees, faculty, and patient populations.

To advance this effort, the Department of Medicine has launched the Office of Faculty Advancement and Community Engagement. This office will strengthen our ability to train physicians and mentor, recruit, and retain faculty. We are working to build more pathways for health science education, create new opportunities for our faculty, and, ultimately, achieve a future in which every patient—here in Northern Manhattan and across the country—has access to and receives the highest-quality health care.
