Education and Training
Training the next generation of leaders in diabetes care and research has been at the core of the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center since its inception. Through the support of the Russell Berrie Foundation, the Berrie Center funds basic and clinical research fellows in their pursuit of becoming independent scientists. Former Berrie Fellows and Scholars have assumed leadership roles throughout the world, helping to shape the landscape of research and patient care. Berrie Center faculty partner with the Institute of Human Nutrition to offer Master’s and Doctoral degrees that bring new students to the studies of metabolism, nutrition, diabetes, and related disorders.
