Overview
Dr. Yi-Fang Wang is a member of the medical physics faculty, currently serving as Head of Dosimetry and Physics Operations and Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Yi-Fang Wang's academic journey began with a BS in Physics from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, followed by an MS in Medical Physics and a PhD in Applied Physics from Columbia University.
Dr Wang brings a wealth of expertise in advanced radiotherapy techniques, treatment planning, and clinical innovation, including cutting-edge technologies such as online adaptive radiotherapy (oART) and developing quality assurance programs for these advanced modalities. In addition to her clinical and research responsibilities, Dr. Wang is committed to mentorship and education, guiding graduate and resident trainees in medical physics. Dr. Wang is a certified medical physicist by the American Board of Radiology and an active member of esteemed organizations like AAPM, ASTRO, and ABS.
