Overview

I was born and grew up in Greece, where I studied Psychology (BSc) at the University of Athens, Greece. I continued my education with a MSc degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, at the Medical School of Athens, and then (November 2017) had my PhD co-joint between the University of Athens and Columbia University, New York. In summer of 2012, I attended the Cognitive Neuroscience Division of Columbia University as a research scholar, where I continued as a research assistant, completed my Postdoctoral Research Science, and then, followed of the position of Assistant Research Scientist. As of now, I also have a record of 11 awards for my research in the field of neuropsychology. Currently, I have a citations’ score of 1190 (h-index: 17, i10-index: 20), being a first author to most of the publications.

In 2022, I was awarded the k99/R00 grant from the NIH/A for my study in Sleep genetics and cognition, and currently I continue at the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab as an Associate Research Scientist.
