Overview
Dr. Ahmad Amoush is a medical physicist with extensive experience in clinical practice, education, and research. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering with a Medical Physics option and multiple advanced degrees in Medical Physics and Nuclear Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His career spans roles as an Assistant Professor and Medical Physicist at institutions such as Mount Sinai Health System, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, and Augusta University. Dr. Amoush has expertise in high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and advanced imaging-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). He has led various projects, including commissioning LINAC systems, HDR afterloader devices, and developing quality assurance programs.
