Many people with psychiatric disorders have cognitive impairments that affect their ability to function in daily life and benefit from psychiatric interventions. This conference will provide a forum for academic researchers, clinicians, mental health care administrators, advocates, and students to learn about evidence-based cognitive health interventions. Course participants will acquire knowledge about different approaches to improving cognitive health, how cognitive difficulties can impact recovery, the factors that influence a positive response to cognitive remediation, and how to provide cognitive remediation to diverse populations.
