Initiatives
The Kavli Institute for Brain Science (KIBS) both supports and enables a community of learning and research, through the sponsorship of education and research initiatives and the awarding of fellowships and grants. These activities are designed to advance not only research but also the careers of promising researchers.
Our ability to undertake these important initiatives is dependent on our endowment from the Kavli Foundation and–even more critically–the support and participation of major donors who share our commitment to unraveling the mysteries of the brain so that people can lead longer and more fulfilling lives.
